Doctor Park
Dentistry has always been a passion for Dr. Park even from a young age. She would spend her summers helping out her father in his dental clinic assisting with procedures and also with the front desk. Later in her life, Dr. Lisa Park would see her passion come to fruition by attending the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Michigan, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). She would then continue to pursue and complete a Master of Science in Oral Sciences (M.S.) and Postdoctoral Periodontics Certificate from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Dr. Park is excited to continue the path of personable care that this practice has always strived to give each patient. Dr. Park and her husband love exploring nature. You can find them on weekends hiking on local trails.
Dr. Park is a recipient of the Academy of Dentistry International USA Section Student Servant Leadership Award for meritorious servant leadership and volunteerism, The American Association of Oral Biologists Award for her contributions in research in root caries in geriatric patients, the Certificate of Advanced Periodontics Clerkship Program from
Detroit Mercy Department of Periodontology, Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry Research Recognition, Detroit Mercy Dental Academic Leadership Recognition, State of Michigan Special Certificate for Honors Convocation, Alpha Sigma Nu – Highest Honor at Jesuit Institutions, University of Detroit Mercy Spiritus Scholarship and the Dental Trade Alliance Foundation Scholarship. Dr. Park held monthly dental education sessions around schools in Detroit, oral cancer screenings at health fairs and mouth guard clinics for student athletes and the Special Olympics. Dr. Park has also volunteered at free clinics and Give Kids A Smile and embarked on dental mission trips to Mexico, Guatemala and Peru. She also provided oral hygiene instructions for healthcare professionals and Kids Kicking Cancer.
